Red eyes....

This post was actually created last week but I just can't continue it as....

Today was not as expected..

I had to go to the hospital and get my eyes checked. The lower lid of my left eye was a bit red and it felt so uncomfortable wearing the lens. I wore my glasses and after meeting the doctor, I was given some medicine which I have to apply onto my eyes 4 times in a day and also once at night. The pills that were prescribed to me made me feel dizzy and I guess I needed a rest for that one week. The doctor wanted to give me a medical leave, but I refused to take it as I know that I had a lot of things to do, well, I had to attend a meeting that afternoon and the next day. When I took the medicine, it made me sleepy and my eyes are watery.. but it was good for me as I can rest my eyes from looking at the computer and also making me "rest" from reading too much.

Hi... Got back from a birthday dinner, my friend invited me to his birthday steamboat dinner.. siuk.. teringat pula masa my birthday dinner last year di tempat yang sama..

It's just for close friends.. so, only 7 of us... Gave him a surprise birthday cake..



Went to shop in Kiulap and Yayasan around 2 pm this afternoon and I don't know what to buy as a present.. but luckily I remembered a friend's suggestion yesterday.. so, I quickly get what I wanted and got back to KB around 4.15 p.m. The weather was okay for me.. I know that it was raining in Gadong area, but it was perhaps only about 15 minutes of rain.. Alhamdulillah..

A colleague texted me about the Pulut Panggang business that she asked yesterday.. and I had to reply the text on my way back to KB.. So, it will be 30 PP Daging and 30 PP Udang.. hmm.. that's quite okay.. provided that there are leaves for each rolls.. just have to call home about it..

Got back home and i saw my dad just got back from the market bringing the leaves... Alhamdulillah.. so, 60 rolls of pulut panggang will be ready for tomorrow morning..

My friend told me that they will fetch me around 7pm.. So, I got dressed and packed the gifts in the bag, including the one that I bought from Oman.. hehe.. "Hope he'll understand and will like the gifts".. that's what I said to myself. I waited till around 7.30 pm.. my friends arrived and I got into the car..

Arrived at the restaurant.. prepared the soup and heat the grills.. we started cooking the meals..
That is always the best part.. as we had to cook what we want to eat.. and it is much more "mesra" to do these.. We saw a group of family members cooking their seamboats and they grilled the beef, lamb chops, prawns and so on.. It's kinda fun :)

So, we had a good time this evening as we eat, talk and laugh.. with everybody sharing the food. Plan to have that with my family once in a while.. well, just an outing..

Hmm...Talking about family outing.. well, the family will have a family gathering this monday.. yeah, I know it's Chinese New Year.. and also, we haven't baked anything for our grandma and grandpa, uncle and aunties.. I guess that should be done after work on saturday.. and will deliver it on sunday.. Gong Xi Fa Cai..

Chat with a former student earlier, and she asked me if I'll be celebrating CNY.. hmm.. not sure.. I'm sure there will be invitations from friends and colleagues who are celebrating.. even my chinese family members.. hehe.. Insyallah..

I guess it's not a surprise anymore...

I'm so totally blank at the moment.. it keeps me thinking now.. well, after a chat with a dear friend.. it's his special day.. but I haven't bought him a gift..

Actually I had bought a gift for him while I was having my vacation to Oman and I was thinking of giving it to him on his birthday together with his birthday gift. At least macam banyak usulnya :)

Just hope he'll understand and not thinking that I might have forgotten about him.. I know that I have told his other friend that I didn't buy anything.. well, that was just one of my plans.. I know that I couldn't afford a H.n..h..n. , which I think is just so ridiculously expensive!! He's just a good friend.. No way!! Sorry pal.. One thing comes to mind.. a ..l.e. hehe.. I know I will give that to him plus the gift I bought earlier..

Why should I worry now...?? I'm just worried that he might have thought that I'm giving him the gift just because I felt sorry for him.. or kesian or anything like that.. NOPE!! Never cross my mind on doing that to him. Well, to every of my friends..

hmm.. that's just a thought.. Hope he can understand that I'm trying to give him a surprise.. I guessed after the chat it'll never be a surprise anymore.. so, that kept me thinking again... sigh..

So, my mind is still thinking....

It's 23 minutes to 1.00 a.m. and I'm still awake.. couldn't sleep..

Feel a bit hungry again...

Oh no!! It means that my brain is still trying to figure out what I should do.. I usually feel hungry when I'm doing work and while I'm thinking about lots of things especially work matters..

I should get something to eat... so hungwy.... :(
