Lovely message....

It's amazing how many people sent me these messages...
Thank you so much...

Read Slowly...

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most?
Saying something and wishing you hadn't?, or
Saying
nothing and wishing you had?

I guess the most important things are the hardest things to say.Don't be afraid to tell someone you love them.
If you do, they might break your heart...if you don't, you might break theirs.

Have u ever decided not 2 become a couple because you were so afraid of losing what you already
had with that person?

Your heart decides whom it likes and whom it doesn't.
You
can't tell your heart what to do. It does it on its own........when you least suspect it, or even when you don't want it to.

Have you ever wanted to love someone with everything you had, but that other person was too afraid to let you?

Too many of us stay walled up because we are too afraid to care too much...for fear that the other person does not
care as much, or even at all.

Have you ever denied your
feelings for someone because your fear of rejection was too hard to handle?

We tell lies when we are afraid... afraid of what we
don't know, afraid of what others will think, afraid of what will be found out about us.
But every time we tell a lie, the thing we fear grows stronger.

Life is all about risks and it requires you to jump.

Don't be a person who has to look back and wonder what they would have done, or could have had.

* What would you do if every time you fell in love you had to say good-bye?

*What would you do if every time you wanted someone they would never
be there?

*What would you do if your best friend died tomorrow and you never got to tell them how you felt? (even if it is that you don't care anymore)
*What would you do if you loved someone more than ever and you couldn't have them?
*What would you do if you never got the chance to say I am friends with all of my family and they know I love them?*

People live, but people die. I want to tell you that
you are a friend.

If you died tomorrow (God Forbid)

you would bein my heart.
Would I be in yours?

If you care about me as much as I care about you
you will send this back

You might be best friends one year, pretty good friends the next year, don't talk that often the next, and don't want to talk at all the year after that.

So, I just wanted to say, even if I never talk to you again in my life, you are special to me and you have made a difference in my life,

I look up to you, respect you, truly cherish you , most of all I CARE about friends

Send this to all your friends,
no matter how often you talk, or how close you are

Let old friends know you haven't forgotten them, and tell new friends you never will.

Remember, everyone needs a friend someday you might feel like you have NO FRIENDS at all, just remember this e-mail and takecomfort in knowing
somebody out there cares about you and ........... always will..

I care about YOU !!

Send this to all the friends that you have...all the friends that you've lost...and to all the friends you've lost touch with...just to let them know that you care...

If a girl cries...

If a girl cries in front of u,
It means that she couldnt take it anymore.

If u take her hand,
she would stay with u for the rest of ur life.

If u let her go, she couldnt go back to
being herself anymore.

A gurl won’t cry easily,
except in front of the person whom she
loves the most,
she becomes weak.

A gurl wont cry easily,
only when she love u the most,
she put down her ego.

Guys, if a gurl cries bcoz of u,
please hold her hands firmly,
coz she’s the one who is willing to stay
with u 4 for the rest of ur life.

Guys, if a gurl cries bcoz of u,
please dont give her up,
maybe bcoz of ur decision,
u ruin her life.

When she cry rite in front of u,
When she cry bcoz of u,
Look into her eyes,
Can u see n feel the pain n hurt she’s
feeling?

Think….

Which other gurl have cried with pure sincerity,
In front of u,
And bcoz of u?
She cries not because she is weak,
She cries not bcoz she wants sympathy or pity,

She cries,
Because crying silently is no longer possible,
the pain, hurt n agony have bcome too big a
burden to be kept inside.

Guys,
Think about it,
If a gurl cry her heart out to u,
And all because of u,
Its time to look back on wat u have done,
Only u will know the answer to it.
Do consider it,
Coz one day,
It may b too late for regrets,
It may b too late to say “im sorry”.
think about it.

“Appreciate and love those around u so that u’ll
never regret when it is too late..”

Wonderful..

A souvenir from Bruneians in Oman. Thank you so much..

While I was in Oman, I met with my old friend, who was my A-level Chemistry tuition mate and also my A-level Mathematics classmate, working at there with her hubby and three kids. I still remember that she and her hubby (boyfriend back then) used to fetch me from the MD Hostel for our tuition at Anggerek Desa flats, our tutor was Mr Raouf, a teacher from MS. I had to take the tuition as I found that I wasn't that good in Chemistry, or its more like Chemistry was a very, very difficult subject at A levels, but luckily I passed it.. Alhamdulillah...

(Left) A very lovely view of the Minaret.. at Syeikh Zayed's mosque in Abu Dhabi. (Right) At the famous Grand Mosque in Oman.

I was expecting to see her when I had my last vacation there (June 2008) as I saw her photos earlier, but I didn't get to see her that time.. maybe she was away on a trip somewhere. This time I met her during the Doa Selamat function for my uncle's family who moved to a new house, plus the Hari Raya Aidil Adha, plus celebrating visiting families from Brunei (including myself). :)
So, it felt like a reunion for both of us.

Lovely..

I like this second trip to Oman as I had more planning as I know where I want to go to and what I want to do or shop there.. This time I remember where all the souks are and what I can buy there, and learn how to bargain.. still learning.. from my uncle.. hehe..

I enjoyed my stay there as I get to see places that I haven't been to the last time I was there. A friend of mine thought of going there, maybe next year Insyallah.. Just have to save up for that then my dear friend. :)

I wonder....

It's funny how people reacted to certain kinds of things. For example, reading people's blogs. It kinda spark some kind of interest to know further about some people.. well, not only the good thing about people.

For me, it's up to each individual whether they like it or not, it depends on how people interpret and can understand what all the posts was about and how they were written.. based on emotions or just something that they like to do..

So, it's something to think about and whether readers like or not, the individual should not take it too seriously... unless if comments from readers were too harsh and boleh jatuhkan maruah seseorang, then, that comment should not be published. I had once in a while received comments that were not quite acceptable to my opinion, so I just ignored them and toss them away (delete).. end of story.

I'm just as happy as I am and I choose to be happy the way I am. Alhamdulillah.. I know that people can just say whatever they want to say about me or the posts that I've written, but it's all about life experiences and what I've observed in a day or within a week or month.

Like it or not, I'm posting it.

Resolutions for the New Year...? Which one..?

It is almost to the end of the year... and I guess everybody has their own New Year Resolution..
Well, for me it will be for both the New Year that will be coming soon..i.e. Awal Muharram (Tahun Hijrah 1430) which falls on the 29th December 2008 and for the New Year 2009.

Perhaps not many people (including myself..hehe..) realise that the dates for these two events are very close to one another. Did you...? :)

Well, I've just realized those dates when I was chairing a family meeting regarding our end-of-year family day for year 2008. At first we wanted to have this event on the public holiday (New Year 2009, i.e. 1 January 2009) but then there are family members who could not make it as they will be working during the New Year. My eldest brother then came up with his brilliant idea that is to have this event on 29 December 2008 (which will be the New Hijrah Year). Alhamdulillah everybody agreed with this as most of us will be available on that date. So, it is confirmed on the 29 December 2008, our Family Day, which is also the New Year Hijrah 1430. I guess if I have invitation to the Hijrah event, I will have to reply the letter as not attending the event.. :)

Okay then, back to the resolutions... Indeed, there should be "Azam" for the new year and I have already prepared myself for the coming years.. Alhamdulillah for everything that has happened this year (both 1429 Hijrah and Masehi 2008) and doa for next year (1430 Hijrah and Masehi 2009) will be a better life in the future and Insya Allah will do my very best in whatever that I will undertake. Whenever there's a will, there's always a way (or some ways) to achieve it. Should never give up on what to achieve and be patient. Insya Allah..

Have you decided on what your "Azam" for the new year? :)

Holidays....

Alhamdulillah.. The workshops are over and I'm starting my holidays today till Christmas. I know that there will be more work when I come back to work, but that will never change my initial plans of going on a vacation with my parents, bro and sis-in-law and my niece and nephew.

Since we'll be meeting my uncle and aunty as well as my cousins, it will be a family travel holiday driving for a few hours to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I heard that they've moved to a new house which I guess was the one that they've showed to me last time when I went there (it was in June 2008). I wonder how's "Tommy" and "QT" doing.. Hehehe.. Cats.. I do love cats.. :)

Hmmm.... what's next..? It's the final month of 2008.. This year was really hectic and I felt that this year a lot of things happened without proper planning especially the work at school, the workshops (Thinking Skills at Curriculum Dev. Dept and the In-House training at school), the Data Analysis training in Melbourne (shortlisted few days before travelling to Melbourne - only informed 1 day before the flight which was the next day!!!), the school holiday trip to Oman (a last minute thing - I bought the one lucky ticket to Oman via KL and Dubai). I really had to look back and reflect on what I did this year so as not to repeat the same thing again for next year..

The SPN-21 was really getting most teachers including myself busy with work and especially myself being in the Academic Department, I had to really work my brains out to make sure people understand what is there in this new education system (to teachers) and to parents (through the Power Point Slide Presentation early this year). Then, there are meetings and also new changes to the assessments, new "labels" for the new secondary classes, change in timetable and so on.. I wouldn't want to write more on this...
I'll need to get my self some rest in order to be healthy (physically and mentally).

So, I'll post more when I had the time and more things to share to readers.. Thanx to all..

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha and happy holidays..

Feeling much better...

Lately I've been experiencing the most terrible days as I felt like my head was hit by something.. Well, it's just that so may things happened these few weeks and I hadn't got the chance to get myself relaxed..

Doctor's advice was to get myself some rest and she gave me an M.C. which at first I was reluctant.. but when I think back.. well after all that happened the other day, I guess she's right.. I was feeling so restless, couldn't stand or walk properly with numb fingers.. my bro had to drive me to the A&E for a checkup.. kesian my mom, she's the one who worries a lot and she accompanied me to see the doctor.. I only text one person who was the last person who text me before I got home the other day. Thanx for hearing out..

I really didn't expect this to happen again, well, after what happened during my A levels.. I'm just glad and alhamdulillah that it wasn't the heart thing.. So, the same pills were given like the ones I had when I was doing my A levels, yeah.. the three months appointments under the care of a specialist doctor.. but, now I'm getting better.. No worries.. Insya Allah..

So, for now onwards I had to take care of my meal times, and what food to eat and what not to eat.. Need to do more exercise just to relax my mind off the work stress.. and also drink a lot of water.. Should be ok.. Think positive and be optimist..

Health... the wealthy treasure..

Attended a seminar on Health Education this afternoon.. I just don't get it when people question about my health conditions.. well, should I lie about it? It's actually nothing to be proud of but I just have to be truthful to my body conditions and I'm not lying about anything.. Yes, I know that nobody wants to admit that they have this and that conditions that they are having.. but that doesn't mean that by denying them, things will be well. Anyway, I don't like to be a hypocrite about all these.. So, maybe that should help people to understand about the needs to know about certain kind of illness one has to bear and be more prepared to perhaps to prevent it from happening. Have I done a wrong thing by doing so? I guess NO..

Hey, nobody's perfect and I'm just a human being.. we are the creation of Allah and we have to be thankful with what we have. Alhamdulillah.. That's what I'm always reminding myself to think positive and be happy regardless of any conditions. Wallahua'lam.

All I know as what I've told my former students that "Health is very important and that is the key to our happiness. If we are healthy or think that we are healthy, then we will be happy. If we think that we are unhealthy, we will always be unhappy about life.".. Think about it.. :-)

Flowers for teachers....

Tomorrow will be a Teacher's Day Celebration for our school. I'm sure lots of presentations of songs, drama, video shows that will be produced by students with the help of their teachers.

Really looking forward for a good celebration after all these years. What makes me remember about Teacher's Day is that I can always give presents and cards and send greetings to all my teachers as they have been working hard to guide us in our studies and making us be what we are today.. Alhamdulillah and thank you so much to all my former teachers.

Hmm.... I'm not sure what our students now think of when it comes to Teacher's Day Celebration. When I was in Form 5 we had the First National Teacher's Day Celebration where we had drama and choir presentation from students. I was not involved in any of it as back then I was more of a "bookworm" type of student who only focus on studies and not much in extra curricular activities. Well, that was a long time ago.. but it was still fresh in my memory as I had taken snapshots of the events. :D

Now, being a teacher I understand that it is not easy to make students learn and understand what we want to convey to them.. It takes a lot of courage and commitment to be a good teacher... It is never easy.. but somehow after all the hard work.. what we expect from students is their good results.. hmm.... I wonder....

This year the YES Club has something to sell... bookmarks and also flowers for teachers... Wow!! I love roses.... :-)
I still remember... a few years ago I had this plan of giving flowers to all teachers.. and I did... I know that someday I will give teachers flowers.. and I did.. and I made it a surprise for all teachers.. nobody in school knows that those roses came from me.. I've printed a card for each flower to be given to each teacher.. I prepared three roses for those special teachers and only 1 white rose for most of my male colleagues. Perhaps they have already forgotten about it... I also prepared 1 for myself too.. hehe...

I guess till now nobody knows who sent them those flowers.. hehehe....

This morning when I had my late breakfast (hehehe) with my dear friend who is also my colleague, we talked about our teacher's day celebration when we were students and also who our former teachers. Those good old memories.. our former teachers (local teachers) are now in the higher positions in the administration, being Principals, Deputy Principals, and a few are now working in higher posts in the MoE. Hmm... so, thinking of what they've gone through and what myself and my friends are at the moment... we thought.. Wow! we are going to be like them.. but it seems that we are moving at a very fast pace nowadays.. My friend is already the Head of Department and I'm already being the SM.. just imagine... I've left SM Perdana Wazir as a student in 1992 taking up A levels in 1993 and then continued my Degree and graduated in 1998.. Offered as the SM Academic in 2004.. got the opportunity to continue my Masters in 2005.. feels like a dream.. After all those, I never realize that time flies so fast.. Both of us noticed that most of our former teachers have retired and the ones that are still working will also be retiring perhaps in 10 years time.. Then we thought of who we'll be in the future.. Well, come to think of that, I'm still not ready to take up that higher position as it requires one to be very responsible and very "ready" to be fulfilling the duties that one has to undertake. I'm still young and I know for sure that I wouldn't want to be given that post just yet.. I still have to learn and I have the willingness to further my studies in what I'm very fond of.. perhaps.. Insya Allah...

Happy Teachers' Day to all...

How lucky are we..?

...to be in a relationship? I've been asked so many times by close relatives, friends, former teachers and even my former students.. the critical question.. I really don't want to think about it for quite some time as I've some reasons for doing so..

It's been quite a while I haven't been involved in a special relationship and I'm know that I cannot have high hopes of getting into one just yet.. All I can say is that I'm just so unlucky in love.. lol.. I do believe in "jodoh" but I guess it hasn't come to me just yet.. maybe not so soon.. Wallahu a'lam..

Friends have been telling me not to be choosy.. Hey! I'm not saying that I'm choosy, but finding a partner for a lifetime requires one to be selective of the qualities and responsibilities of the other half. It's something quite difficult to predict and it can be so complicated.

What makes a relationship work? What qualities do one look for as everybody is unique with their own special qualities? Or perhaps ladies do not have to look for the qualities but it's the men who should look for the qualities? Huh... This is getting very tough.. It's not so easy.. as meeting with lots of Mr Wrong for several times doesn't mean that we have lots of imperfection...

Maybe it is just that Mr Right haven't met his Miss Right yet (or vice versa) and that he hasn't found her special qualities and has not been able to accept a few faults in her which he has to live with for the rest of his lives... I know that somehow I have to think about this but if someone found me, I do hope it's going to be a serious one (not much of a bf or gf thingy which I think is only for teenagers) and pray that it'll last forever.. Amiin...

So, I'm just trying to be myself whatever happens...

Interesting....

While I was having my training back in Melbourne, I had a chance to go to the National State Library. It was a very big library and it was very convenient to do all the work there. We also have our own library card where we can access the internet for free..

While I was at the top floor... I looked up and I saw this....

I remember that there was an exhibition in the library that really interest me... Here's some of the pictures I took using my N70 mobile phone camera..  and we asked the security guard if we can take pictures before we took some snapshots of some items on display. There was very little light but I managed to take some photos.

One of the items on display is the Quran..

Below is the Midget Library, a very tiny display of books. I'm just so concerned about the one particular book that was not placed on the shelf... I hope it is not what I think it is..
All the books were so minute that the size of each book was less than the size of my fingernail!!

The cuneiform tablet... reminded me of my History lesson while I was still a student.
This cuneiform tablet was very tiny too.. Hmmm... besides this tablet, what is in this picture...?
Hahahaha.....

The map of the world during Christopher Columbus....

An interesting piece of art work..

It's all about choice...

Just got back home from work.. and I didn't realize that it was already 6.00 p.m. when I punched out from work this evening.. huh... tak sedar jam berlalu dengan pantas.. :-(

I know that it's too much for me to handle but all the work is my responsibility and I have to complete them before the due date which is the day after tomorrow. As the other colleague of mine will be performing her Haj this week, it means I have to do most of her work plus the existing duties that I'm having at the moment.. Tough but I have to be positive about all this.

Which means, sorry to say, friends, I wouldn't have much time for you guys but I really do hope that you all can understand what I'm going through this month until next month. I have to deal with the higher authorities which involved the country's education system. I do remember that I've told you guys that if I look as if I mcm too serious or moody a bit (hope not), that means I have a lot to think about and tons of routine to settle..

So if you guys do encounter me in that situation, it doesn't mean that I'm mad at you guys or I don't want to talk to anyone or anything negative.. It's just that I had to limit my time with you all and also means that I have less talk with you all so that more work can be done. Jangan salah sangka kawan2.. If you guys know me very well and faham my duties, I hope you can accept that and let things settle down.. Jangan ke hati yer.. Maaf lah if ada tersalah kata.. sometimes kita tak sedar bila kita selalu jaga hati orang lain, siapa nak jaga hati kita... kita akan terluka... I have the tendency to care about people but little did I know that I've actually hurt myself even more.. hmm....so, if we are in this situation, people can take advantage of us.. kita selalu nak bahagiakan orang lain tapi diri kita sendiri yang tak mampu nak bahagia.. hmm... I do hope I've made a right choice... harap-harap I tak jumpa orang yang cuma nak ambil kesempatan, lepas tu tinggalkan kita... maybe 1 in 10 people yang macam tu.. really hope that I'll be positive about this.. hmm... susah.... enough about that....

hmm.. thinking....Hope I can finish the work soon... and get on with my life... I mean my life.. I also do need time for myself, so I hope with the upcoming vacation in the second week of December I can just wind up and rest... go to the cities that I wanted to go to and enjoy the scenery..

So, my choice was to get myself busy with work and forget other things that's bothering me for quite some time now... wouldn't want to mention here.. it's too personal..

Boring...?

Do you get bored.. with a person..? Yes.. Sometimes.. So do you blame that person for being a 'boring' person and leave him/her?

Have you ever thought or considered his/her situation..? Have you ever asked him/her? So, how do you know that person bored you? Can you judge a person just by looking at how he/she dresses him/herself? Or by how he/she talks? Or by who he/she befriends? Could that be enough to tell whether he/she is a boring person..?

Is there such a person as 'boring' person? Huh.. what am i asking here... i have no idea..

No answer.. Can you guys give opinions on this..?

life

These few days have been so stressful... with work... and also... life.. hmm... just causing me think twice not to let myself "drown without a life guard"..
With all the job opportunities that were given to me, well, yang telah diamanahkan, I'm sorry to say, it's a No... and for once I know that's a sensible decision.. somehow, there's always a brighter side.. jangan susahkan diri sendiri for people who have other agenda yang boleh melukakan hati diri sendiri.. I'm letting it go..

I listened to the radio while driving back to KB after the march past for the Sukan Guru-Guru early this morning... and ada lagu ni yang quite sad... for someone who's waiting "All of My Life".. just to be with somebody.. Forgive me.. coz I'm just in a mood to listen to slow songs..

All of My Life

Time...
I've been passing time watching trains go by..
All of my life..
Lying on the sand, watching seabirds fly..
Wishing there would be
Someone waiting home for me...

Something's telling me it might be you
It's telling me it might be you..
All of my life...

Looking back as lovers go walking past...
All of my life
Wondering how they met and what makes it last..
If I found the place
Would I recognize the face..?

Something's telling me it might be you
Yeah, it's telling me it might be you

So many quiet walks to take
So many dreams to wake
And we've so much love to make

I think we're gonna need some time
Maybe all we need is time...
And it's telling me it might be you
All of my life...

I've been saving love songs and lullabies
And there's so much more
No one's ever heard before..

Something's telling me it might be you
Yeah, it's telling me it must be you
And I'm feeling it'll just be you
All of my life...

hmmm.... Ladies especially single ladies out there.. lots of people who we actually don't know, though we already know them for years...but people changed.. even if people hate us, it doesn't mean that we are bad.. but it's just that we have our own choice and also our own pride.. biarlah apa anggapan orang kata kita sombong, peduli kan saja.. itu mulut orang.. atau keluarkan kata-kata kesat pada kita atau belakang kita.. dosa diaorang yang tanggung sendiri.. the important thing is that we do not fall prey for people who have the 'intention' of taking advantage of us..
sabar saja.. things happen for some reasons..

time for work....

Spending....

After receiving my payslip on Thursday, I got so excited that I bought myself a pair of new flip-flop slippers.. A cute one from Bata after I finished work at around 4.45 p.m.

Well, I did spend some to treat my colleagues at work with Pizzas, Lasagne, and lots more from Frattini's (a good friend ordered for all of us). I felt so happy that I didn't realise that I still have to pay for other bills and the likes.. Anyway, I know that I still need to be happy with the current salary statement regardless of all the upcoming bills that need to be settled. Hehe... No worries..

Friday morning I went for a massage at the usual place I went to in KB town which I've booked on Wednesday. It was a 9.00 a.m. appointment there and I went there right on the dot.. Felt really refreshed after the massaged... Alhamdulillah.. Got back home and I've to fetch my mom at around 12.00 noon at the restaurant. It was after the pay day, so, lots of people are having functions and so on and they have ordered catering services from the restaurant. My mom cooks at the restaurant, well, a family restaurant just around the corner of the Dst branch in KB. Alhamdulillah, business is well and mantained in order.

After around 2.00 p.m. I had to rush to Bandar coz I really needed to buy the ingredients for my so-called Cheese Cake.. Bought lots of them and I went to go shopping for other things.. indeed it was only window shopping coz I didn't actually buy anything.. I was asked to buy a new Oven for baking cakes but I was not interested in any of those displayed on the shelves.. So, I went down to Tutong to collect my Baju Kurong which I didn't take during raya.. and I've spent on that too.. I really need to save some for my trip at the end of the year.. Hopefully, I could save before I've overspend it.

It was already almost 6.00 p.m. that I arrived in Seria town, also to look for oven.. I saw a few friends there, maybe shopping.. I parked my car at the back of the shop building and entered a CD shop where I met a colleague who's trying to buy a new DVD of a new movie.. Well, I told him that I've seen Tropical Thunder while I was back in Melbourne, at the Hoyts Cinema with my fellow team members from the training sessions. It was a really funny movie and I told him that Tom Cruise was among the cast members in the movie but nobody knows it was Tom Cruise. I think he decides to buy the DVD.. :-) Hope you enjoyed watching the movie.. hehehe..
I didn't quite buy a lot in Seria as I had to get some more milk and butter, and I went to Soon Lee Mega Mart in KB. Then I got back home.. After the prayers then I started baking my cheese cakes.. 4 of them.. It took me from 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. to finish preparing the cheese cakes. I then read the Borneo Bulletin and I was really interested to read the article on the new UBD graduates.. It kinda reminds me of my graduation last year.. a wonderful thought... I wish I could again study.. further..

This morning, I woke up as usual but I wasn't in a hurry to get done.. That's why it took me quite a while to get ready and drive to school. I thought I had time to pack the cheese cakes but I was wrong.. So, I had to ask permission from the acting principal to let me go and get the cakes at around 8.40 am. It was hard work for me to transfer the cakes to the cake boxes. My mum said that I should've done it earlier while it was still a bit frozen and now it was already soft.. so, it was quite delicate and may distort the shape a bit.. Sorry dear friends who have booked for the cakes.. I do hope that it tastes better than it's sorry shape.. Forgive me...
I took the cakes to school at around 9.20 a.m. just in time before they read the Doa selamat. Lots of food, local and international, just name it and it is there right in front of our eyes.. heheh.. well not all of them of course.. Maybe i'm just a bit exageratting here.. Sorry..

Of course I'm really full after the meal, so I'm going home a bit later for my Solat zuhur.. Home is just a few minutes from school, and I had to come back in the afternoon for work.. I had to work all afternoons unlike other teachers.. that's why I didn't have much time to rest in the afternoons, hmm.. being in the administration it gives me exposure to official duties other than teaching..

Anyway I had to do much better now as with a better pay, so, I think I should do much more "setimpal" with the pay that I get.. However I'm still waiting if we do get our allowances.. but now it is Alhamdulillah..

Finally..... :-)

Assalamualaikum... Hi..

Finally... It is now confirmed.. What I've been waiting for.. and I've got it now in hand.. Syukur Alhamdulillah.. Today is the Convocation Day for the UBD graduates and I could still remember my graduation last year.. It all seemed like yesterday.. and only after one year, I'm receiving another good news early this week.

I'm so glad that I've got my Masters earlier and I'm really glad that it made me move forward and really i'm going to make myself go up the ladder again.. if ada rezeki lagi.. I know it is going to be a tough one but I'm sure it'll pay off in the end and of course I remember the peribahasa melayu "Bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian".

InsyaAllah.. I will try my best as a teacher to educate my students and also do my job as usual.. I don't know what will be there for me in the future.. but I do hope that this small change will help improve major changes to all, including myself as an individual.

Work and future..

These two days were really tiring. I know that I needed to attend the workshops coz it will help me understand better about data analysis which I did in Melbourne.

Thanx to the act. Principal (Deputy Principal) for giving me permission to attend the workshop. It was in fact a very good one! I'm really learning something out of the two workshops and I did discuss about my previous understandings of Rasch model to the facilitator. He asked me why do I need to attend this workshop as I have been trained to do this analysis for three weeks. So, I told him that I needed further details on what I was lacking and it was really a patchwork on the experiences in Melbourne. People from the Exam Department, MoE wasn't aware about our training workshop in Melbourne, which I guess was only known to only two departments. Anyway, I'm really glad that I got some answers to all my doubts in this area of statistics.. actually in the psychometric field of statistics.

I guess if another teacher was assigned to take up this workshop, it will be a definite "I don't understand anything" response as what some of the workshop participants have expressed their concerns during the last day of this workshop for our group. Well, most say that they needed time and were very clueless during the theory part.. and some of the terminology which were so unfamiliar to them. I was surprised that most of the workshop participants were teachers who do not have the statistics background and this actually have caused problems in their understanding of the terminology. I did my part in helping out a group of lady teachers during the workshops and was really glad that I did that. Alhamdulillah.

Time was a limiting factor for this workshop and everybody was expecting that there will be some kind of hands-on activity using the computer to input data, analyse and then interpret the data to make the final report.. Anyway, I really hope that everybody can make use of this analysis in the students report later on, the SPN-21 assessment report as well as the SPE for each school and each subject and each student.

I'm still waiting for the memo from the Ministry regarding the workshop that we will be involved in, as a team of officers to share the findings based on our training in Melbourne.. It's the first week of December as my trainer has emailed me earlier today asking me about him coming over to Brunei soon. I'm really, really glad that he's read my reports and that it was well done. He expects me to write much more later on.. well, if i have the time and with real data, perhaps we'll be able to make sure that we can apply what we've been trained for.

I'm also glad about something else that involves rewards for myself and Alhamdulillah.. Whatever it is, I should be thankful for everybody who supports me in one way or another, directly or indirectly, to achieve this success that was due for quite a long time. I'm just hoping that I could pursue further, kalau ada rezeki.. I know that it's not going to be easy this time around as I had to be much more resourceful and I should know what I want to do next, and where I would want to be later on.

So, not hoping for anything yet.. just a thought and perhaps a plan for the future.. No promises..
InsyaAllah.. tidak mampu untuk menjanjikan apa-apa setakat ini.. Doa, Usaha dan Tawakkal..

Stressful days to go...

It's been terribly out of hand.. My days are filled with lots of "fun" activities which puts me in too much pressure.. sigh...
I just hope I'm in a good condition to finish off what I'm doing just to get myself ready for the next few months. Heading off to a really "good" start wouldn't be such a good idea.. haha..lolz..
My dear friend who's sitting next to me is trying to figure out what I'm doing at the moment with myself and what I'm writing in this next post.
Huh... Cakap orang puteh ani.. wah...
Mungkin ada yang sasak ani.. Anyway, I'm just getting my 'little' mind being of relaxing type after completing my fifth report which was actually due few weeks back and I still have one more final report to be sent to Melbourne.
Imagine returning back from Melbourne 2 weeks before raya and you have to complete them within 1 week after returning.. and you have raya preparations at home.. family.. demands from everybody at home and also from work.. hmm... susah wah...
So I managed to find myself a balak when i was on my way back from the canteen...hehehe
Just to clear the air here... The sentence just above this line was not done by me.. hehehe...
Ok... Nevermind.. Perhaps I would not be able to make updates for this coming weeks..
Maybe..
So, just wait until it is the school holidays.. and after my workshop in December then i'll be able to post more updates for mcd readers. Ok then..
Can't wait til my next trip to ......
Then you'll be getting more stories... from abroad..
Take care...
