Work matters...

It's been quite a while I haven't been able to update my blog. I've been too caught up with work responsibilities which wouldn't allow me to at least write something up. As usual my duties as a teacher and also in the school administration, meetings, deadlines, conferences, markings, exams... all these has put me into a position where I am being some sort of a workaholic. That is why I have decided to take leave for the whole of the school term holidays.

Today is the first day of school... and there are no students of course as the students are given an extended leave for one week from 29 June 2009 to 4 July 2009. They'll be back in school again on 6 July 2009. Talk about leave for the students, I'm really hoping that they are doing their own revision at the moment.

In school today we have the contact time at 10.00 a.m. in which as usual meeting with all teachers. I've been working many hours to finish up the time table for this term and I finally got it done on the last day of the previous school term. I've been working fridays and sundays just to get that done in which I had to come back to school on my own to finish up the time table (friday and sunday). It is not an easy task where I'm the only person doing it and I had to key in all the details for all teachers for all levels and all subjects, with all the special rooms to be used and other duties that they have to do which I have to block. Alhamdulillah I did finish that off during the examination and test periods. I know that I've been spending a lot of time doing that rather than preparing my exam papers and exam marking scheme. Mungkin berkat kesabaran dan usaha yang berterusan yang membolehkan aku membuat kesemuanya sebelum bermula penggal ketiga.. Syukur Alhamdulillah..

Before giving out the timetable to teachers, I had passed it to the Principal and Deputy Principals to check it and make amendments to it before the school holidays. A few had to be amended and I made the changes. Alhamdulillah.. Done..

Students' results weren't that too good.. for both my Additional Mathematics and Mathematics 'D'. There are two students who did not make a pass for additional mathematics. As for Mathematics, I guess some have passed and improved than the previous Preliminary examination. Hope my students will improve further. Amiin..

I guess there are so many things that I wanted to post here....but I don't think that I should write it up here regarding how I felt at the moment.. It's kinda sad and I wouldn't want to disclose it. I just hope for better things to come in the future.. Insya Allah..

Choose....

Been in a situation where one is having a problem of choosing which path to go and decide what one should do? Well, it is not easy when being in one’s shoes. Either to just go with the flow, let the flow bring one to a place where he/she would be in the future.. or choose where to go to either against the flow or take another route. It is up to that one particular person to make his/her decision.

When one is stuck in the middle, to choose between two friends, that one person surely have difficulty to decide as he/she would not want to hurt anyone’s feelings by choosing one friend over the other. So, this particular person would opt for a much better solution, i.e. find a new friend. Will that help to solve the problem? Hmm… that is a risk that he/she has to take. Perhaps that would make the two friends to work things out and realize their mistake…or this would make the two of them be separated from him/her and lose the friendship. But whatever it is, if the two friends are actually sincere in their relationship with him/her, then the friendship bond will still be there and they will still be friends. It would be understood that if one of the friends decided to end their friendship, it may mean that he/she has not been sincere towards the friendship and don’t want to be friends again. Again, it is up to the individual on how he/she treats his/her friends.

Friends come and go… They may be seasonal: come when you are in happiness and spend most time with all the joyful activities…but will leave when the time comes, either when you are down or just don’t have anything to do with you anymore.. They will just leave without leaving a note... They could also be friends for a lifetime…accepting for who you are and would want to spend most of the time with you during joys and sorrows…though you are already married, they will still keep the friendship alive and kicking…keeping you company when in needy times…

Well, no matter what type of friends we have, we still need to care about their feelings and try as far possible not to hurt them or isolate them from our lives... Always giving and forgiving... Love them, appreciate them and cry with them… Tell them that you care.

I'm just so disappointed...

.....with whatever that has happened lately.. It felt like things are not going to be the same again.

I really hope that I have all the answers to all the questions.. but I just couldn't and it is not easy to find the answers or find help or seek assistance.. A lot of things to do with so little time...

hmmm....
